Lambda Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega
University of Missouri-Kansas City
The Lambda Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega just celebrated 50 years at the University of Missouri-Kansas City last fall, making our house the oldest sorority on campus! Chi Omega-Lambda Zeta received an Award for Excellence at this years convention in Phoenix, one of only sixteen chapters of all 174 Chi Omega chapters. Senior member, Rachel Drabenstott was awarded Scholar of the Year and another congratulations to our advisor Melissa Leimkeuler for receiving Advisor of the Year. Chi Omega is proud of it's member's accomplishments that have helped build such a strong house on campus. All of our member's are brought together through our six purposes: friendship, high standards of personnel, scholarship, community service, campus activities, and personal and career development. Additionally, each member is involved in school and community activities outside of Chi Omega. We also share a basis of beliefs through the Chi Omega Symphony.
